New in our range: our tempeh made from sweet lupins. With a whopping 16 g of protein per 100 g, it's high in protein and the powerhouse among our natural varieties.

Sweet lupins are legumes, just like peas and beans. In tempeh they taste hearty and nutty, with a subtle, slightly mushroomy note. The firm texture turns nicely crispy when fried and soaks up marinades well. Just right for anyone who likes their tempeh with a bit more bite – soy-free and without additives.

Preparation: Cut into cubes or strips and fry in oil over medium heat until golden brown. Deglaze with soy sauce or marinate beforehand. Also works in the air fryer, oven or on the grill.

Taste: Hearty · Nutty · Slightly mushroomy · Firm bite · Fermented

Goes especially well with: Club sandwich · Tempeh katsu in panko · Fried potatoes · Gyros pita · Lentil salad

Contents: 1x 200g
