Who is Lazybean?

We are a young food label with the mission of making sustainable, honest, and creative food more accessible. Our focus is on tempeh – a fermented, nutrient-rich product with a long tradition, which we are reimagining.

Our tempeh is not a meat substitute in the traditional sense. Instead, we see it as an independent, plant-based protein source – natural, delicious, and full of opportunities for creative expression.

We focus on high-quality ingredients and responsible production – without additives, without unnecessary frills. We want to spark curiosity, inspire, convey the joy of cooking, and bring variety to your plate.

Before I started fermenting tempeh, I designed brands – focusing on food and FMCG – at leading packaging agencies. I love illustrating, developing concepts, and occasionally filling a canvas with paint.

Today, all of this flows into Lazybean: with a great love for the craft, an eye for detail and the conviction that honest food connects people and that responsibility begins with the ingredients.

Lazybean represents what is truly important to me – doing something for the soils where our food grows, for the people who enjoy it, and giving myself space to be creative – especially when cooking.
